Saturday Night Live.....

Today was a great day with my kids.  We did many fun things.  Sometimes I find it hard to make both of them happy all the time.  If one is happy the other is not and visa versa.  I was able to talk to some old frineds of mine and hearing their stories of "wedded blisters" I actually caught myself thinking, "So glad I don't have to worry about that."  Today I was also thankful that I didn't have to share my kids with anyone and they were all mine!  Today I also got to pull my daughter's tooth and play toothfairy which I find so fun, well only the toothfairy part!  I remember reading that Poem about children learning what they live, and I realized that it is so true that children learn how to love and to be loved by what they live in and by who loves them.  And although being a single parent is not always easy, I honestly feel that my children are learning how to be strong and how to survive and someday they will know how deep their mom's love is for them.  Tonight, my cup runneth over!
